GMAA added another addition to its program in its 3rd year: chamber ensembles and solos. Students are given the opportunity to put together and perform in small ensembles like a string quart, percussion ensemble, or jazz combo. For the much daring musician, students can perform solos as well. Each group that is formed must meet once a week after school. These ensembles and soloists perform in their own concert, a ticket only dinner concert. These groups may also be given the opportunity to be evaluated by a judge at the C.M.E.A chamber and solo evaluation at CSU Stanislaus. Other groups like the jazz combo can perform at fundraisers for other Gregori Programs, and academic block G events.
